Internet Security Devices

For ten years we have been helping companies secure their networks when connecting them to the internet.

Every network connected to the internet should have a hardware firewall fitted. There are a broad range of hardware firewalls available with widely differing feature sets. Often firewalls include additional features such as ADSL modems and wireless devices. The latest, fourth generation devices, include a technology called deep packet inspection whereby all internet traffic is scanned by the firewall for viruses and malware before it enters the local network.

The Oxford Knowledge Company has deep experience of implementing a wide range of hardware devices especially those from SonicWALL and Netgear; and of Firebrick devices. We also have experience of all versions Microsoft’s enterprise class software firewall - Internet Security & Acceleration Server (ISA) 2000/2004/2006.
