Profile: Matthew Banks, Senior Technology Consultant
Matt is our Senior Technology Consultant, and is therefore responsible for the consultants on staff, and for dealing with particularly challenging projects.
Matt graduated from Sheffield University in 1998 with a dual honours degree in Geography and Ecology. Initially Matt worked on a six month project for the NHS, before moving to his next role at an organisation providing outsourced IT services. Here Matt was involved in many projects including implementing the upgrade of IT equipment for the UK offices of the world’s leading manufacturer of construction equipment Caterpillar. Then followed a two year stint at RM where Matt worked to support the complex and ever growing internal IT infrastructure.
Superb people skills and great IT experience gained from working in both large blue chip companies and much smaller enterprises means Matt brings a refreshing mix to The Oxford Knowledge Company.
Working for the Oxford Knowledge Company since 2002, Matt is a qualified Microsoft Certified System Administrator and a member of the British Computer Society. He specialises in Disaster Recovery, AntiVirus and Microsoft Exchange collaboration solutions, both in the Enterprise and Small Business Environment.
Outside work Matt enjoys playing Squash, Cycling and DIY.
